Aura Holdings has achieved a major milestone with the practical completion of the Radcliffe building — the seventh and final stage of construction at Kingsford Terrace Corinda.
The completion marks the culmination of a decade of growth for the vibrant retirement community in Brisbane’s western suburbs, which has steadily evolved since welcoming its first residents in November 2015. Earlier this morning, residents from the original stage one Litchfield building came together to celebrate the 10th anniversary, reflecting on the village’s transformation over the past decade.
The newly completed Radcliffe building adds a further 59 apartments, bringing the total number of apartments at Kingsford Terrace Corinda to 249. Across Aura Holdings’ portfolio, this milestone lifts the company’s total completed retirement living apartments to 796.
Radcliffe also introduces additional shared amenities for residents, including a library, lounge, and boardroom/games room, further enhancing opportunities for connection and recreation within the village.
Aura Holdings Director Tim Russell said the completion of Radcliffe represented both the close of one chapter and the start of another.
“Kingsford Terrace Corinda has been a defining project for Aura. Over ten years we’ve watched a remarkable community grow — one built on connection, independence and a shared sense of belonging,” Mr Russell said.
“It’s fitting that the ten year anniversary of our very first residents moving into Litchfield coincides exactly with the completion of our final building, Radcliffe. It’s a milestone not just for those residents who have been here since the beginning, but for Aura as well. We’re extremely proud of what’s been created at Kingsford Terrace.”
Aura Holdings’ development momentum continues, with construction underway on The Evelyn at Mt Ommaney, the company’s seventh retirement community. There has been strong interest in the project, with stage one already more than 70% sold. Once complete, the two-stage project will expand Aura’s portfolio to 922 premium residences, including a mix of elegant apartments and contemporary townhouses across South East Queensland.
Aura Holdings Director Mark Taylor stated that the company remains focused on delivering high-quality retirement communities that offer both community and connection.
“As we complete one village, we’re already shaping the next. Our goal remains the same — to create communities where people can keep living in the places they love, surrounded by familiarity and connection,” Mr Taylor said.
The Evelyn Mt Ommaney, located alongside the rolling greens of McLeod Country Golf Club, is set to become a sought-after community for retirees in West Brisbane. The village will capture the essence of a relaxed lifestyle and offer a seamless blend of luxury, community, and leisure.
