It is home to lots of families and young professionals which has resulted in a very friendly, welcoming community. A new train station is due to be opened in 2023, with 3150 extra seats on peak-hour trains on the Gold Coast line under the Cross River Rail. The lifestyle in Pimpama is a busy one, mostly due to the fact that most residents work full time and have children. Residents do, however, know how to work with that, and there are often weekend events for residents to bring their children to and relax. Pimpama is also located right next to Coomera, which means that theme parks like Dreamworld and Movieworld are just down the road (they’re less than 15 minutes away – great for the grandkids!).
