Quick facts

About Lincoln Place

Every Lincoln Place community is designed for fully independent living for over-50s. You choose a lifestyle estate where your days are your own and your neighbours are at a similar stage of life. Each community has its own character and its own mix of amenities and activities. For someone downsizing, living among people at a similar stage can make it easier to settle in and meet neighbours.

Residents own their home and lease the land it sits on. Lincoln Place looks after the community and the land, so your time is free for friends, hobbies and getting out and about. You can compare estates and pick the one that suits how you like to spend your week. Because you own the home but lease the land, it is worth reading the agreement closely and asking the team to explain anything that is unclear.

Lincoln Place is backed by Cerberus Capital Management, a New York based global investor and business partner. Lincoln Place acquired new sites in 2025 and 2026, so the network keeps widening your choice of location. Knowing who stands behind an estate is a useful part of comparing operators, since it tells you who you are dealing with.

Costs & fees

For a current price, call Lincoln Place directly on 1300 844 492 or enquire through the listing for the community you're interested in. Speaking to the team is the most reliable way to confirm what a particular home costs today. When you call, ask what the weekly charge covers and whether anything is payable on top, so that you can set one estate against another on the same footing, and keep a written note of what you are told.

Care & lifestyle services

Lincoln Place communities are fully independent living, so you stay in your own home and run your own days. Care services are not included, and health and wellbeing programs are delivered by external allied health professionals to help you stay independent for longer. If you expect to need support in future, it is worth asking how those programs work at the estate you like.

Lincoln Place is not an aged care facility or a retirement village. Every home is designed to evolve as your lifestyle and living needs change, so the home you move into keeps pace with you. A conversation with the community team is the best way to understand what that means for your own plans.

Shared facilities include pools, gyms, a community hall and pickleball. Some communities also have a shared work shed for hobbies and projects. The mix varies from community to community, so it is worth asking what each one offers before you visit, and checking it against the things you would actually use each week.

What makes Lincoln Place different

Lincoln Place keeps the cost of living simple. There are no council rates, just one low weekly charge. A Deferred Management Fee applies at two acquired communities, Officer and Kangaroo Flat in Victoria. You also keep 100% of any capital gain on your home, with no catches. Home prices and weekly charges are published for each community, so you can compare estates before you pick up the phone.

Scale adds choice. With communities in four states and territories, you can look for the right location through one operator and one phone number.

More than 3,000 residents already call Lincoln Place home, and the network is still growing. Fee arrangements are one of the main things people compare when weighing up a move, so check which fees apply at the specific community you are considering.
