Over 50s will receive $5,000 towards their moving costs, and in-home decluttering advice, as an incentive to downsize into one of two communities in the heart of a famous NSW wine region.
This offer is being made to prospective buyers of new homes at Lincoln Place’s Campbell and Hunter Valley Lifestyle Estates.
The offer is in addition to the other financial benefits of moving into a Lincoln Place community, including avoiding paying stamp duty, council rates or exit fees.
The Campbell Lifestyle Estate is located within Cessnock, known as the gateway to the Hunter Region’s world-famous wineries, delicious local produce and magnificent natural bushland.
It’s located within 10 minutes of Cessnock’s centre, where you can find medical services, shopping centres, arts and cultural venues and recreational clubs.
The community includes 165 home sites on spacious lots, along with outstanding resort-style facilities.

Downsizing advice
Part of the offer for potential buyers is that they will receive one hour’s worth of free downsizing advice, in their home, from a local expert.
This advice will be provided by Sharon Lantry or Raewyn Paterson (also known as Woody) from downsizing and decluttering experts A Good Sort - The Organising Professionals.
Woody established the business in 2011, with Sharon joining in 2020.

Together, Woody and Sharon have assisted Hunter region downsizers go through the important and sometimes exhausting process of decluttering to allow them to downsize.
“In our experience, many potential downsizers know their home is no longer suitable for them,” Sharon said.
“This is maybe due to the fact they are no longer able to maintain the home to their standard.
“For others, the home is simply now an ‘empty nest’ with children growing up and moving out, leaving parents not knowing how to start the decluttering journey.”
Sharon said decluttering can be quite an emotional task.
“For some potential downsizers it just seems too overwhelming and as a result they put off downsizing, no matter how much sense it makes,” Sharon said.
“It’s easy for family members to say to their Mum or Dad that ‘you don’t need this or that’, but for people over 50 these things hold so many memories.
“In short, people don’t want to feel judged when undertaking decluttering. We don’t judge but will help, and ensure people have the right amount of time and energy to make decisions.”
Time to act now
Both communities are in their final selling phase for new homes. Once all new homes are sold, only preloved homes will be available when they come on to the market.
Apart from the $5,000 moving benefit and downsizing advice session offer, residents can secure their home with just a $1,500 holding deposit and enjoy flexible settlement terms.
To redeem the free one-on-one downsizing advice session, potential buyers will first need to speak with the Lincoln Place team and visit one of two communities. The $5,000 benefit becomes available once a home contract is signed.

About Lincoln Place
Lincoln Place is a trusted national developer and operator of communities designed specifically for the over 50s market.
Lincoln Place offers a land lease model of homeownership. Under this model, residents can purchase a high-quality home secured by a long-term lease but without the cost of the land factored into the price.
This means the home is typically less expensive than other nearby suburban homes, and also doesn’t attract stamp duty, body corporate fees, council rates or exit fees.
When it comes time to sell, owners retain all proceeds from the sale including 100% of any capital gain.
Lincoln Place’s homes are architecturally designed within a master planned neighbourhood setting, providing lifestyle facilities and spaces that prioritise connection, independence and financial security.
More than 3,000 people live in over 20 Lincoln Place communities in urban and regional growth centres along Australia’s east coast.
