Resthaven CEO, Darren Birbeck, is pleased to announce that Resthaven has been awarded the Gold medal in the 2026 Reader’s Digest Quality Service Award for Home Care Services in South Australia/Northern Territory.
‘It is a great honour to receive this award, which recognises Resthaven as the leading provider of home care services in South Australia,’ Darren says.
The award was presented to Resthaven after Reader’s Digest conducted independent market research, identifying businesses that consumers believe provide the highest quality services. Businesses were judged in five criteria: personalisation, understanding, simplicity, satisfaction and consistency.
‘Feedback from the community is always important to us,’ Darren says. ‘It helps us to understand what people value the most, as well as areas where we can improve.’

‘A more flexible and understanding service provider who treats its employees with more respect, which in turn means that clients are better served.’
The Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards invite everyday people to comment on which companies deserve to be acknowledged for their customer service excellence.
