Resthaven is delighted to have been Highly Commended in the 2025 Reader’s Digest Annual Trusted Brands Awards for the category of ‘Home Care - South Australia and Northern Territory’.
On Thursday 12 June, Resthaven Executive Manager Community Services and Retirement Living, Mel Ottaway, accepted the award at The Tea Room, Queen Victoria Building, 455 George Street, Sydney—celebrating Resthaven’s achievement as a leading not-for-profit aged care organisation in South Australia. This is a great recognition of the Resthaven Community Services team and the amazing work staff undertake to support people to remain living independently in their own homes.
Independent research of more than 4,000 ordinary Australian consumers conducted by Catalyst Research identifies the most trusted brands each year. This was the 26th year the awards have been held. Since its launch in 1999, the Trusted Brands survey has become an established source of consumer information and is a strong indicator of product and service quality and reliability.
‘The winning brands all share a common trait. They consistently deliver on their promise. People have an expectation of what they’re going to get and the particular product or organisation delivers what they’re after. Time and again.’ - Catalyst Research.
Celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2025, Resthaven is proudly South Australian and one of a select few Australian aged care providers to offer the full range of services for older people, from residential care to allied health, fitness, social groups, home care, retirement living, and respite for carers.
Some of the comments made by members of the public about Resthaven home care include:
‘Quality services and outstanding care.’
‘Helpful and caring. Friendly staff.’
‘Very flexible and always keep up to date with information.’
Thank you to those members of the public who shared their thoughts on Resthaven in the research.
This is the third year in a row Resthaven has been High Commended in the Home Care category since the award commenced in 2023. Resthaven also achieved Highly Commended in the Residential Aged Care SA category back in 2022; however, that category has not continued.
