These are the exercises my physiotherapist has given me to treat my osteoarthritis.
When I started my therapy I couldn't walk for ten minutes without acute pain in my knee.
After one month of doing this routine three times a week, I am now able to walk an hour every day, pain free.
This is a huge deal for me, as I am 54 years old and thought my much-loved active life was over!
In order to fix knee pain, we need to strengthen the muscles that surround the knee - namely the quads and calves.
Even if you don't suffer from knee pain (in which case, lucky you!) I still highly recommend these exercises as I have found they are great for building beautifully toned and sculpted legs!
